  1. Assembled Classic Motor Vehicle: A vehicle which was originally manufactured more than 30 years prior to application for title with one or more major component parts replaced by parts that are essentially the same in design and material to that originally supplied by the manufacturer for the specific year, make and model of vehicle.

     

  2. Kit Vehicle: A vehicle assembled by a person other than a generally recognized manufacturer of vehicles by the use of a replica purchased from an authorized manufacturer and accompanied by a manufacturer's statement of origin. All major component parts must be new.

     

  3. Custom Built Motorcycle from Aftermarket Parts: A motorcycle assembled by a person other than a generally recognized manufacturer of motorcycles by the use of after market major component parts from an authorized manufacturer and accompanied by manufacturer's statements of origin.

     

  4. Assembled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle that has been materially altered from its construction by the removal, addition or substitution of a new or used major component part.

     

  5. Assembled ATV, Minibike or UTV: An ATV, minibike or UTV that has been materially altered from its construction by the removal, addition or substitution of a new or used major component part.

     

  6. Assembled Historical Vehicle:  A vehicle originally manufactured more than thirty years prior to application for a certificate of title with one or more major component parts replaced by replacement parts, other than replacement parts which are essentially the same in design and material to parts originally supplied by the manufacturer for the specific year, make, and model of the vehicle.
