Disposition of Personal Property Landlord and Tenant Act provides for a process for disposal and transfer of title for a manufactured home, mobile home, or vehicle. 

After tenancy has terminated or expired and the premises have been vacated by the tenant, the landlord shall give written notice to the tenant and any other person the landlord reasonably believes to be the owner of the property. 

The notice shall describe the property in a manner reasonably adequate to permit the owner of the property to identify, shall state reasonable costs of storage, location where the property may be claimed, and the date on or before which such property must be claimed. The date must be not less than seven (7) days after the notice is personally delivered or fourteen (14) days after the notice is deposited in the mail. 

The notice shall be given within six (6) months of the date of expiration of the lease of the property or the date of discovery of the abandonment, whichever is later. 

The notice must be personally delivered or sent by first-class mail, postage prepaid, to the person to be notified at property owners last-known address and, if there is reason to believe the notice sent to the address will not be received by the property owner, also delivered or sent to such other address, if any, known to the landlord at which such person may reasonably be expected to receive the notice. 

If property is not retrieved by the owner, it shall be sold at public sale by competitive bidding. Nothing shall preclude the landlord or tenant from bidding on the property a public sale. Additionally, if the landlord reasonably believes the value of the property is less than $2,000 the landlord may retain or dispose of as landlord chooses.
