Temporary Demonstration Permits are issued to dealers in Nebraska. The permit is issued to the dealer blank, with the exception of the stamped signature of the Administrator of Driver and Vehicle Records Division of the Department of Motor Vehicles, and is to be completed by the dealer at the time of issuance.
The dealer may issue the permit in the following situations:
- To a prospective buyer for demonstration purposes;
- To a customer as a loan vehicle while the customer's vehicle is being serviced;
- As authorization for a dealer plated vehicle to haul commodities other than automotive or trailer equipment.
This permit is valid for forty-eight hours from DATE and TIME of issuance and must be in the possession of the vehicles operator at all times for display to proper authorities upon demand.
