Driver Licensing Offices Closings

You can obtain a driver's license in any Nebraska DMV driver licensing office. Vehicle titles and registrations are issued in the county where you reside.

The County Treasurer offices, which issue vehicle titles and registrations, may follow a different closing schedule, please check with the County Treasurer for their closing information.

Frontier	Monday, 7/1/24 (All day) to Friday, 10/11/24 (All day)	(All day)	The Driver Licensing office located in Stockvile will be closed from July 1, 2024 through October 24,2024 due to major renovations at the Frontier County Courthouse. Driver Licensing Services will resume at this location on October 25,2024. We will be opening the McCook office to cover the closure from 8:00AM-4:00 PM on the following Fridays: July 5, July 19, August 2, August 16, August 30, September 13, September 27, October 11.
Hamilton	Wednesday, 9/4/24 (All day) to Tuesday, 12/31/24 (All day)	(All day)	The Driver Licensing office located in Aurora will be closed until further notice starting September 4, 2024. The office in York will be open on Tuesdays from 8:30 - 4:30 to cover the closure.
Wheeler	Thursday, 9/12/24 (All day)	(All day)	The Driver Licensing office located in Bartlett will be closed on September 12 due to maintenance issues.
Dodge	Friday, 9/13/24 (All day)	(All day)	The Driver Licensing office located in Fremont will be closed September 13 due to staff shortages.
All State Driver Licensing Offices	Monday, 10/14/24	12:00am	ALL DRIVER'S LICENSING OFFICES AND THE NEBRASKA STATE OFFICE BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2024 IN OBSERVANCE OF INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY/ COLUMBUS DAY.
All State Driver Licensing Offices	Monday, 11/11/24	12:00am	ALL DRIVER'S LICENSING OFFICES AND THE NEBRASKA STATE OFFICE BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED MONDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2024 IN OBSERVANCE OF VETERAN'S DAY.
All State Driver Licensing Offices	Thursday, 11/28/24 to Friday, 11/29/24	12:00am	ALL DRIVER'S LICENSING OFFICES AND THE NEBRASKA STATE OFFICE BUILDING WILL BE CLOSED THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2024 AND FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2024 IN OBSERVANCE OF THANKSGIVING.
